Mary Lynn Rajskub recently flew to London to record a US version of the Bafta award-winning ITV1 comedy series "The Sketch Show".

Following the success of the program in the UK, independent company Avalon Television for the first time filmed a pilot directly for the Fox Network on Sunday the 18th of April. The new show is entitled "American Sketch Show".

Emmy award-winner Kelsey Grammer, who recently filmed the final series of Frasier, made a guest appearance alongside Mary Lynn's permanent cast members, including British comedian and star of the original show Lee Mack. American newcomers joining with Mary Lynn include Malcolm Barrett (Sopranos, Law & Order), Katie Olson (Curb Your Enthusiam, The Drew Carey Show), and Paul F Tompkins (HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher, Frasier).
