Two recent Mary Lynn DVD releases
have just hit the shelves and are sure to make great Christmas gifts for any
Mary Lynn fan.
On December 7th, season three of "24"
was released and has some great reviews. Cynthia Fuchs from
Pop Matters says season three
provides multiple tensions, ranging from soapy excess to exquisite visuals
with taut story structures to lunatic twists. But she is very happy
with Mary Lynn's contribution, stating that she really has some sharp wit
with her commentary on disc 4 and believes that Mary Lynn is phenomenal as
Chloe who plays Jack's new assistant in the series. The latest season
of "24" can be purchased
here.
Another release to hit the shelves
just today was Mark Tapio
Kines thriller "Claustrophobia",
which was renamed "Serial Slayer" by Lions Gate Films. If you want to
see a film with lots of Mary Lynn in it, this is the movie to see.
Don't judge the video by it's cover. This movie is compelling, scary
and at times has some really good humor. It carries the threat of a
crossbow toting serial killer, who has no compunction about going after his
prey in broad daylight. He traps the three main characters in a home
where they began to have a party. The party soon takes a turn when
after catching a news story about the killer on TV, they discover he is
possibly somewhere outside of their house. Mary Lynn's performance is
great as the shy, quiet and unpopular Grace. It's a great film to
watch alone at home in the dark. Be sure to catch it. It can be
purchased
here.
You can see more about
"Claustrophobia" at Mark's official
site.
