It has been brought to my attention that Mary
Lynn will be appearing on an episode of
ABC's hit sitcom "What About Joan." For those of you unfamiliar
with the show, it stars Academy Award nominated actress Joan
Cusack as a high school teacher who explores the complexity and
endurance of close friendships among women, as well as the challenging
relationship between her and Jake (Kyle
Chandler) -- two bright, independent, experienced people -- as they
blunder toward intimacy.
Mary Lynn
will appear in what looks to be the sixth episode of the season. She
has a short stint as a waitress in the program. Though the scene is
rather brief, I am told it is quite funny, and Mary
Lynn performs at her usual wit.
I will try and keep an update on this episode as
more information becomes available. In the meantime we can give our
input as well as stay informed on all that's going on with the show at ABC's
